A 36-year-old girl was arrested in East London on Saturday after she was allegedly present in possession of crystal meth – often known as tik – price round R3 million.
In accordance with the police, info was obtained {that a} girl travelling on a passenger bus from Bloemfontein within the Free State to the Japanese Cape could be in possession of medication.
“The bus was noticed and adopted to Windmill Roadhouse [bus station], and a feminine passenger was identified,” police spokesperson Captain Hazel Mqala stated in a press release.
“Police then requested permission to go looking her bag, which was granted by her.

“Upon looking out the suspect’s bag, they recovered medication suspected to be tik. Fifteen bricks of crystal meth had been present in her possession.”
Mqala stated the medication weighed 20.5kg and had an estimated avenue worth of R3 million.
The suspect is predicted to seem within the East London Justice of the Peace’s Court docket on Monday on prices of dealing in medication.
